Sophie came to us from Victoria as our second
girl.
She gained her show title relatively quickly,
often having the advantage of being a 'dark
girl in a white lineup' helping her stand
out.
She had many great wins including: Minor Puppy
In Show BCC of NSW; Reserve Challenge winner
Sydney Royal 1983 &1985 ; Multi Challenge
Winner Semi specialty (Australian Working Dog
Club NSW 1982 & 1985 and ACT Combined
Collie 1985). Sophie was also a Multi Class In
Show Winner.
She migrated across from the show ring to the
obedience ring, where she did equally well,
getting her CDX fairly quickly (giving her the
Silver Dunbar award - for Ch &
CDX).
Sophie also proved herself as a mother,
producing Aust Ch. Crystalledge Heritage, Aust
Ch Crystalledge Star Trek & Aust Ch.
Crystalledge Novar, though we sadly lost
Sophie soon after the birth of her last
litter.
Many tears of joy were shed during her life
time and though many tears have since tried to
wash her from our memory, Dad knows that
Sophie will be among the first to meet him at
the Rainbow Bridge.
