Magic was the second of our foundation bitches, bringing a lot with her and giving more, much much more.

She got her title in the show ring, and gave us some very beautiful pups. It was later in her life though that Magic showed what she was really made of.

She left us "temporarily" to become a companion/therapy dog for an elderly lady in a nursing home. Not only did she instill life back into the lady, she brought back life into the entire nursing home. Upon the lady's death they could not bring themselves to let Magic come back to us, so she stayed, and continued to work her magic with the rest of the residents.

As we remember her.  

A funny thing happen to dad at an obedience trial one day:
The judge said "are you ready" "yes," said dad,
"normal pace forward, left turn, right turn, drop your dog, stand your dog, etc, etc" said the judge.
"Now turn and face your dog" said the judge.
Dad thought this was rather strange command and looked down to where Magic should have been. Then in shock looked back to the starting peg where Magic was.
The judge laughed. The only time Magic moved was to scratch her nose.
