Jodie was our first Cattledog, and
although she seemed to think she was a Border
Collie (case of the ugly duckling I guess),
she taught us all about this breed. She was
never a big show winner, but she did win large
classes, including at the Brisbane
Royal.
Jodie gave us 2 litters, the first having only
one pup: Aust Ch Crystalledge Jodies Image,
and the second having some very nice pups,
including Aust Ch. Crystalledge LadyInBlue,
Aust Ch. Crystalledge Country Rain and
Crystalledge Masquerade.
Jodie left us when she was about 6 yrs to
become a companion & much loved pet, but
it wasn't long before she abandoned this roll
and took over running the farm on which she
lived instead.
We owe much to Jodie, as without her we would
not have had any of our current dogs (she is
behind all of them), or even not had this
wonderful breed at all.
